How-To: Nardi OEM Steering Wheel

Yep, same diameter :) I think the air bag module is a little off centered... I'm very anal about these things. I have to try realign it tomorrow.

Thanks again :)

cool... so does the leather feel different? cuz i dunno much about it so it looks exactaly the same to me, but with tighter stiching

or is mostly for the name and lil badge at the bottom

1 sidenote: after disconnecting negative battery terminal, wait 10 minutes so all electrical devices are discharged... <= that's the hint the mazda techs gave me when working on the electrical system of the car.

i know you mentioned it, but it shouldn't look like it was optional, it's rather a must-do.

there's not a whole lot you can do about it... but mine is off center too, and it's only because of my custom mounted cruise control buttons ;)

oh yeah, you should list the torque specs for the wheel hub nut and the airbag bolts... the hub/column shaft nut is 34ft lbs and the airbag bolts are 87in lbs... since these are safety related parts, it's VERY important that you torque them down to spec or they may fly off!

I recommend everybody else to use a steering wheel puller because there's less of a likelyhood of accidentally damaging the steering wheel with a rag & hammer or breaking interior pieces ;)
the s*** is only 13 bucks at o'reily

which model is that nardi wheel out of? or what is the part number? i would like to get rid of my crappy silver sided wheel from my mp3 and have an all black wheel
