I don't Know if this How-to is needed but I see that alot of you like to convert you stock dx/lx/es(from some 01s to 03) into the mp3/msp style and have to pay alot for a rebar to make it work
1st I took off the old stock LX bumper that I had(there is how to on removing a mp3 bumper its the same thing)The only reason I don't have a rebar when I took off my bumber is because I was drive for 3 months with a MP3 bumper with no rebar
Then after I put the rebar on for a test fit and put the MP3/MSP bumper on and see where it hits.. Just take a marker and mark where it hits..
Then I make the cuts on both side.. you can use a power saw but becareful because the plastic get really hot and melts so wear some gloves and something for you Eyes so nothing gets in
Then when you finish cutting it put it on the car and test fit the bumper ... if you made the cut perfect then it should slide on if not take it off and try again
Clean ur rebar and bumper before puting it all together because it any hot plastic is around it could damage ur new bumper
After all is done it should be nice and soild and everything should match up
I hope that helped and I thank you for ur time if you want to ask me anything about this just pm or leave a message here
Thanks,
