How To install Underbody Lights

I'm wanting to install my (yellow) underbody lights this weekend, Now a few people in here have them but no one has shared how they were installed. Any ideas would greatly help. I will also note all my steps used once I do it.

You know, where I come from, Los Angeles, ANYONE who does ANYTHING to a japanese import, wheather it be a stupid rear wing, or a nice lowering job, is concidered rice, as you call it. I really hate when people say "RICER", when 99.9% of people here have similar mods. So, if you call one person a ricer, you are calling everyone here a ricer, including yourself. (notcool) So,Shawn, go ahead and install them and more power to you. Sorry, don't know how to install them. Good luck.

you all need to shut the **** up....he honestly didnty come in here and say "Hey guys I was wondering if underbodies are rice or not?" He asked a simple question...Why the hell respond when you arent going to say the answer...If I walked up to you and said..hey man is the sky blue? woulld you answer with BLUE IS FOR ******* .....the answer is no, you wouldn't....Everyone needs to learn that by you jumping out and saying RICE with 400 !'s nothing is accomplished, besides making yourself look like a yambag to someone who ony wanted a tip or two.....anyone ever hear of the Golden Rule?

how to install

Ok so this is very easy, The light run in a daisy chain fashion in other words, there are two lines comming out of the tranformer, one of the lines gets hooked up to one side of the a tube then that tube will get hooked up to one side of the next tube and so on untill you get back to the tranformer. the tubes should get attached with the little clamps that were supplied at in the kit useing small(1/2'') tek screws and in some places zip ties.(use 2 zip ties in each location insted of one) Are cars have great rails and the lamps should be put on the other side of the rails so you cant see the tubes.

I agree with Kza, folks don't come here to get hammered for something they want to do, they just want answers. I myself have blue underbody neons that don't work anymore (cracked front tube). I had mine installed for a rediculous price. He didn't ask for opinions, just answers. So if we cannot give our fellow member here some help, you don't have to answer. There is enough negitivity in the world already without adding more.:mad: ...I mean...

anyways, if you have a built in transformer for your tubes then just run all the wires from the neon's to the distribution block (shoulda came with one) and you can use nylon ties to secure it to your car if you don't have anyplace to route the ties through then you will have to drill small holes. should have at least 6 ties for the shorter tubes and 8 for the longer ones. i connected my tube (when it was working) to my fog light wires so i just hit the fog switch to turn everything on and off but i think 4 tubes is too much for the fog wires. i only had 1 so don't connect all 4 of yours to the fog switch

Neon is a high voltage low amprage lighting. For Low glow lamps that measure to about 16' in totall (all lamps combined) they only pull about 4 amps( I think they run at 9600 volts AC but not sure). If you are runing 100 watt fog bulbs they are asking for 8.3 amps (100w / 12v = 8.3A) 16ga wire will take 10 amps,14ga wire will take 15 amps. so any way there is a furmula(spelling) for you to determine if you can run all of you neon off of your fog lights, and if you cant you can always have your fog lights fire a relay to turn them on.
