I'm preparing to put RaamMat throughout my MS3; wondering if there are any pics/instructions for removing the rear bench seat, or other parts?

You should read the sticky for this section. It is for posting how tos, not asking for them. This just causes clutter. You should create a how to when you figure this out.

With all of the money you have spent, you should consider a factory service manual.

BluMicaR, Let us know how this goes. I'm behind on jobs right now(TT, Boost Guage, Cobb SRI but one of the next things I do is to RAAMAT and Ensolite the doors. I'm actually thinking bout leaving the stock bose in and see how it sounds once deadened. Are you changing out the speakers and doing a system or leaving it stock?
Tom

I'm leaving it stock for now and just running wires, later I'll buy the converter thing and change out speakers. It's just a money issue. For now I'll be happy to hear more of the stereo and actually have a cell phone conversation (when I have to) without saying 'what?' every other moment because I can't hear the phone over the road noise.

Well, it was too damned cold lately (-2* today without windchill) but I'm getting laid off January 31. Going to have some time to line my car up and do photos and a nice detailed write-up in February. See, I'm a realist, I see the good of a bad situation. Now if my manifold would arrive I'd have a few days work to do with the downpipe installation alongside. :)

Eh, my company: (fuoops)

BluMicaR,
Good luck to you. I got my last job through Monster.com, YMMV.

Thankee sai, I'm hitting all the majors and 3 recruiters as of late. No luck yet, but I'm not sweating it. Barring another cold snap, it should provide ample time to install my RaamMat!

If i want to sound deaden the outer panel, inner panel, and door skin of all 4 doors with some raammat and ensolite and have enough leftover to do the wheel wells and the trunk how many square feet of each should i be looking to buy? I really can't even make a good guess. Raammat comes in 62.5ft^2 per roll.

I'm still planning the how-to, we just CAN'T get a run of two over 50* days here, it's been WAY too cold (8* this morning) to do this kind of outside stuff so far.

I know what you mean, not nearly as bad in NJ, but i just want one day that is warmer than 50 degrees so i can paint my calipers. Of course i missed my one day this past monday.

I cant wait to read your how-to as these doors look especially hard to get the almost air-tight seal we are looking for that is somewhat easier to achieve on some other cars I've seen.
Tom

How heavy is this stuff?

It comes in rolls of 15" by 50' and the stuff is .35lbs/ft^2 so i think the math comes out to 21.875 per roll. And apparently a roll is good enough for the four doors and have some left over
