How to get rid of headlight condensation??!!

One of my friends had a Mazda 6s and when he baked his headlights it actually melted the plastic on one of them. It distroyed the headlight and he was out $250 to replace it. I have been cautious about baking my headlight, but eventually i will try it.

Had the same problem replaced the bulbs and didn't put the rubber seals on completey and got condensation in the headlights. When I took it to the dealership they noticed it and ordered me new headlights and demonstrated on how to properly apply the rubber seals. I also got clear lights instead of the balck ones that came with it, which are ugly. You just have to make sure the seal is tight, its quite hard with the passenger side light because it is so hard to get at. As anyone knows trying to replace bulbs with larger hands. To get the condensation out just let it go out on its own, on a nice day it will all dissapear. You might find your headlights burning out as well from the condensation, I had that problem.

turn you lights on for a little while and let it evaporate. the heat from the headlight should take that right away. it worked for me.

My question is, if i dont attempt to fix this right now am i risking ruining my headlights from the inside?

The headlights will be ok for a couple of days so long as you do not turn them on. However, once turned on, if a drop of water touches the hot glass it is most likely going to shatter the bulb.
