How to disable the horn

I would look under the hood and pull the fuse....or with a little more work you can take off the front bumper and pull the plug on the horn itself.

GENIUS!

the guy that insalled my alarm bouched it. so when i hit the button to dissarm it the horn just keeps going off but the system is disarmed so right now i have my battery undone so its not bothering me neigboorhood.

take it back to that guy and make him fix it for free,
belive me not having a horn is more of a pain than you think it will be, mine was messed up when i got in an accident and it hasn't worked since, and it sucks big time especially when you have these idiots in suv's that don't know how to look when they change lanes almost killing you because you have no horn

You don't need to remove the bumper to access the horn. You can just pull the splash shield.

But yeah, removing the fuse is way better.

Definately get it fixed.. The one time someone slowly rolls into your car at a light or in a parking lot youll wish you had a horn.

well i got an update. i went to the guy and he fixed it for free. he said a rely was messed up or something. But now i noticed that my horn is really weak now and it seemed to get weaker and weaker when the blaring started. so now i dont know to ot to get this taken care of, should it be a warrany thing on the car or the alarm place.

I would make the alarm place buy you a new horn. But make them get you one that's better than the factory one. It should even be cheaper.

well i have a neThey bought me a new horn and now everything is now good to go. But man i wasted a lot of phone time and trips down there. but now everything works like it should

Wow, with all those trips and wasted time, it would've been cheaper in time and gas just to fix it yourself. But I understand the point behind it.
