I dont own a boost gauge or anything like that but I want to know if there is any other way to figure out if its leaking?

I ran a 13.6 with I/MM so I know its fast and im afraid its a waste of money to get a forge bpv or similar product.

It probably is a waste of money.

To test, you could build something that would fit over the end of the turbo inlet that would allow you to pressurize the system. If it will hold 16 psi then it doesn't leak.

Buy the Forge BPV. It is way better than the stock POS. If you don't like it then it will be easy to sell on this forum. You might be out $20 if you resale it, but I'll bet you will keep it.

The assman eh, nice. You could bench test or datalog. if you do not feel there is an issue do not spend the money. There are many parts that definitively help performance. Look around as most of us have advice a plenty> are you posted up on the 1/4 mile time slip thread? thats pretty quick!

No I never posted in the 1/4 thread but I dont have any reason to lie. I just feel the way my car performed at the track that if it was leaking I would be excited to see new resuslts with a little more boost. Im just not sure what I want my next power adder to be without getting to heavy into warrenty voiding territory. I figures a tiny mod like the bpv which is easy to remove would be ideal.

I think I might just go with lighter rims and wait out the warrenty for anything more.

I do not doubt you sir, but the thread is nice to see folks improve their times with new parts or more racing experience. I have not been back and I should, to see how the car has improved. I know my racing 1/4 mile skill hasn't ha. May I suggest a midpipe, good price for a noticeable difference in tone and a little more performance. And also easy to put stocker back on. My Forge works very well but I don't think it will drop some tenths off your 1/4 mile times though. just my two cents though!

I'm in the same boat. That is the same route I'm gonna go assman. Bpv, high flow cat plus cbe, and some light weight rims
