How to delete thread

How do you delete a thread that you have posted in?

For example, "The longest thread" thread

what do you mean? delete all the posts you made in that thread or delete the entire thread?

I don't think they want that thread deleted. Hence, the name. Don't understand your question. You mean unsubscribe?

true...if its unsubscribe all you have to do is go into the thread you want removed, select "Thread Tools" at the top of the first post on that page & click unsubscribe & viola!

No, I don't want the thread deleted. But when I search for all the threads I have posted in some come up that I no longer want to see highlighted. Making sense? What I do is search for my user name and up comes all the threads that I posted in. Now what I want to do is to not have certain threads come up anymore. I am not necessarily subscribed to the thread.

i dont think there is a way to "exclude" threads when you're doing a search for all of your posts
