John,
You can and can't -- unless you're a
really good do it yourself shade tree
mechanic kind of guy.
It involves taking both headlight
housings out of the car, using a heat
gun, tools, glues, lots of patience, i.e.
taking them apart and replacing JUST
the lenses.
A. Not easy. Trust me, I tried it once,
was more than what I bargained for.
B. Expensive! Just finding the lens alone
is going to be expensive.
Here is why... headlights and taillights now
a days are a WHOLE UNIT replacement type
of deal. I.e. you just replace the whole thing.
Plug and play so to speak.
For that, here are some suggestions:
EBAY:
http://www.ebay.com/bhp/mazda-cx7-headlight
If you go the ebay route, MAKE SURE you ask /
check / and verify that the assembly is BRAND NEW!
LOTS OF JUNK YARDS SELL ON EBAY and YOU GET
WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
On-line parts place:
http://www.go-parts.com/mazda-cx7-headlights-34_1016.html
If you go the on-line parts place, do the same as
ebay, ASK, CHECK, VERIFY AND CEHCK THEIR
RETURN POLICY.
OFF BRAND:
http://www.jcwhitney.com/replacement-headlight-assembly/mazda-cx-7/c2828d17722j1s21.jcwx
If you go off brand, know this.... YOU GET WHAT
YOU PAY FOR, and might have yllowed, chipped,
or cracked headlamps in a few weeks/months.
Again, CHECK: Warranted Policy, Return policy
and above all,
customer reviews!
In the end, no matter what route you take,
expect to spend about $800.00 for both.
Good luck!
Peace!
