How To: Celica Style Bumper Lenses (P5)

hi, i was wondering if cutting of the car itself is necessary for this job or jsut the lights.
And what size are tje wingnuts

I did mine this past Wed. and it looks pretty damn good. I have to make a small adjustment on one of the home made grommets or whatever you call it.

NOTE:: Make sure you start and end your rubber grommet piece on what will be the bottom side of the lens toward the street. This will help keep attention drawn away from any imperfections in the grommet itself.

i did this mod yesterday...took longer to drive around to get the parts than to install them! looks awesome now!! i can't stand that nasty orange.

THANKS FOR THE HOW-TO DERRICK!!

I ordered mine from streatbeat.com and got it for 63 CDN shipped.

For the gommet, how long do I need? and where can i find these?
Home Depot?

Thanks

I guess I'll have check out local Toyota dealers to see what they have..... $63 CAD for a set seemed expensive....

I used Street Beat in Phoenix, AZ as an example. Chances are you can find a better price. I only used them because there was no shipping for me.

Nice how-to, I might have done this mod earlier but plan on shaving the stock front sidemarkers anyway and adding reg side markers. I really like the ones one the 745Li, but just mainly something that isn't so big!.

BTW what is the side marker bulb size for stock?

I'm finished. Took 35 minutes (if you have all the hardware in hand.). The drivers side was the hardest to do, the washer fluid tank got in the way.
Clear markers
Let me know what you guys think. Thanks again derrick!

alrighty guys..i am soooo not mechanically inclined..is there anyone in the Tampa area that can do this for me..?? I will pay for parts and labor..
