haha yea, sure would be nice though..whats this launch control? ive heard that the traction control on some z28's worked really well...is it kinda like that??

I know part of it is limiting the amount of boost in 1st gear.

Actually it is the contrary. It retards the timing and richens the mixture to get the turbo to spool. So launching in boost but a little lower RPM.

Boost controllers, heh. The AVC-R has gear limited boost.

Which is why I plan to get the AVC-R..all about almost normal boost in first..then a nice fair amount in 2-4, then low again in 5(prevents boom on stocker rods). Also, I beleive the AVC-R has RPM selective boost also doesnt it? or did I misread(ie tired and mixed several things together)
