Hey guys!..

I thought that this thread could be interesting...getting to know how old you all are as a MAZDASPEED Protege soon to be owner!

I'll begin first, I'm 18 years old.

I am 35. This is going to be my daily driver. My Miata is my toy. I could sell my Miata and not get the MSP and drive a more expensive car but I like having my Miata staying nice and immaculate. It is like having the best of both worlds I want to take some performance driving classes with the MSP. I can't take many of these classes with my Miata because they require a rollbar and I think a rollbar takes away from the convertible feel of he Miata.

Hi everyone, I've been reading this board for quite some time now for the valuable information concerning the release of the MSP and I finally decided to register. (yippy)

Anyway, I'm soon to be 26 and like JonnyMiata, If I'm fortunate enough to get a MSP, this would be my daily driver. I have a 94 Prelude VTEC which is my show car, and I'm not willing to get rid of her yet so I need something for when my Civic decides to finally call it quits.

I was recently thinking of selling the Prelude and getting a BMW or something more expensive but I just can't bring myself to actually do it. The MSP looks like a great package if the price is actually around $20,500 so hopefully I can get a hold of one when they are released. I've called both the dealers near me and neither are taking deposits. They both told me that they are waiting on final pricing and they would call me when they had that information. My only concern with this is that they are waiting to see what the MSRP is so they can judge how much to mark up the car.

My fingers are crossed that I'll be one of the lucky ones to own a MSP.

im 19 and the MSP will also be my daily driver. the 7 is just too much of a pain to maintain for daily driving

how do you feel that you are going to be driving your MSP daily?..
i know that this is just a protege that we are getting...but sometimes in the back of my mind i think of the worse that could happen to us....

I mean, Orange is such a flashy colour..who knows what people would do next....i'm soo afraid of seeing vandalism or anything along those lines....

oh i absolutely understand where ur coming from limited but thats the only reason why im getting the MSP. i mean ive always had a preference for mazdas but i didnt want something really slow so i guess that the MSP came just in time. i dont worry about someone vandalizing it cause im pretty well known in my city and no one stupid enough would mess with my car
