How often do you see another Mazda 5 in your neck of the woods?

Ok, I live in Reading, Pa. And I've made it a point to always when I'm with the kids or with the Ms. to point out other 5's only because I never see any...I've gone on long trips and I might see one or two. My Sister came down from Boston and asked what car this was because she never saw one up there. Today while just driving to get gas and some Burger King I saw 4 different 5's and I was shocked. A 06-07 dark blue one, 06-07 Silver one, 06-07 Black one with gold bagdes((notcool))and a 08-09 Dark silver sport model. In my kneck of the woods I'm more likely to see more Porcshes than 5's and dont get me wrong porcshe are rare but Mazda5's are rarer...if thats even a word. Just wondering what is the average number of other 5's you see on any given day?

I live in a city of 25 thousand people with a Mazda dealer that has a customer service area of 50 thousand people. While the dealer rarely has more than six 5's (new and used) on the lot at any one time, they have flooded the community with GS' and GT's.
It is not unusual for me to see and wave to more than a dozen 5's in a day.

No one has ever waved back (sigh).

I live south of Kid5, I see 2 everyday (doh)

Back in 05-06. I'd see one per week at the most, but last time I counted 4 in one day, most of the time driven by soccer moms ;)

Anyway, yeah, more popular after all these years...

There are many in our area. It's not quite as popular as the protege5 was, but there are probably 3 or 4 that live within 2 blocks of our house.

I do an average of 100KM of city driving every day so I spend alot of time behind the wheel. I see at least 3 5's a day. They're almost all GT's (Maybe one GS a week) and mostly 2008+ models (LED taillights, more streamlined fog lamp assembly) and...
They're all driven by soccer moms. (notcool)

I rarely see any. I have had my MZ5 for 1 month as of today, and have seen 5-6 in the last month. All driven by what appears to be soccer moms. Also, every one ive seen has been a 08+ and almost all were silver.

At work there's 5 MZ5 including mine 3 GT and 2 GS. My drive to and fro is around 90 Km a day and I usually see 1 -2 early in the morning and up to 7 MZ5 on the express alone, maybe more on the collectors but I dont usually look that hard on that lane when Im on the express lane.

DAMN!! Mazda 5 Heaven

Most of the 5's around here have a blue and white plastic card hanging from the rear view mirror with a wheelchair symbol, parked in preferred slots. White hair is high fashion for 5 pilots in my community (double sigh).

You're in the Parksville/Qualicom area, aren't you? Lots of retirement folks in those parts.

I see lots of 5s in Kelowna, another retiree dumping ground!!

Hell, I have to admit I bought my 5 because it was easy to get in and out of.

Hmmmm I wonder(uhm) what the youngest age of a Mazda 5 owner is? I'm 33(gah)

Ha ha! I think Canada is ahead of the US in moving to smaller cars.

I call those "blue hairs" piloting the 5's.

very few in Arkansas. Far more likely to see kids in four door full size pickups around here. We've driven the 5 on several long road trips - 1000+ miles to destination - and over the last four years, have seen exactly one other 5 on the road during the trips.

Oh, well. Best to be a nonconformist.

I was 2 days shy of turning 26 when I got my 5.

I see at least five, closer to ten Mazda 5s a day. I like that it's enough for me to see that these are really popular cars in these parts without being the common Corolla which I see 50 to 100 of each day, 25% of them being taxicabs.

I see my neighbors 06 sport MT every morning :) Other than that, there is a silver 08 down the block and usually I see one or two a week, tops. Thats in the Metro NYC area.
