Just thought I would start a thread seeing how much people are paying for insurance. Obvious things to post would be your insurance company, driving record, ect. You obviously don't have to post (or can only post what you want) if you are concerned about privacy. Just doing this to see who is getting ripped off and getting good deals.

Policy: Only myself on policy, $500 dedcutible, MSP only car on policy
Discounts: Good student and military
Marital status: Single

Driving record: One accident, no tickets or violations.

a high deductible makes a large difference, and since i have never been in an accident, I upped mine

I also have basic collision, not broad. which saves me even more.

36 yrs.old. And lead footed occasional street race or 2 a week
1 accident bumper tap in my S-10 2 years ago (since then traded in for MSP)

You have to shop around. some companies offer huge discounts that others do not offer. I have like good driver, mature driver, house, boat, joint, insured since 16, it's kinda cool. like 10%, then 10% then 20% then 15% they just keep going
