How much did you pay for your Mazda2?

I'm in the process of buying a Mazda2 so I would like to know if you guys are getting any good deals around the U.S.

So far the best quote I've got for a Manual sport model with no options is $15,965 out the door. This includes fees, taxes, destination etc. What are your thoughts?

Another great thread idea...I'm going to "Sticky" this thread and see how it does...I have a feeling many potential Mazda2 owners as well as new Mazda2 owners will be very interested in overall pricing...:D

Well in my case...

2 Sport, 5-door, GTA optics - all in serial equipment ( + 16" alloys in grey colour - only few models came with them 'cause they put them in factory, but didn't charge them, so, next models came with ordinary 16" alloys)

Price - 22k $ ... but this is Europe so, price will be much lower in US...

I manage to get discount of 1,500$ + some interior stuff... still without armrest, witch is must have :D....

I actually just purchased a 2011 Mazda2 Touring ATX for $17,075.00 which included a cargo net and wheel locks. The price included a $750 destination fee which I didn't try and hagle since it wasn't much over invoice anyway. I could go a bit more in detail but there's a short answer for ya :)

$16050 is what I paid for a MT touring. I know another local person who picked up a touring MT for $16250.

I have the test intake on my 2 right now. We are working on it along with some other product ideas.

I will get a post up about the intake and the testing when we nail down a few more details.

couldn't get into the $15,500 out the door (including the destination charge)?

I was only able to get -$600 off MSRP. Are dealers moving a lot off MSRP? Up in Canada, color choices are prette few and far between, unless you want black, green or metro grey.

Well, I purchased my Mazda2 maybe 1 week after the car came out so they wouldn't budge on lowering the MSRP for me OR waiving any part of the destination charge but whatever, I still saw it as a good price point.

Also, the colors down here in FL that I've seen so far are Black, Silver, Red and Green but I believe my local dealer said they were supposed to get some White ones in pretty soon.

I actually have 1,300 miles on my 2 now and it still drives great. I still love hopping in for wherever the road takes me :)

Just paid MSRP for a Touring, 5MT (they're supposed to include the wheel locks and cargo net for free..but "forgot" to deduct it on the deposit paperwork....) Car is at another dealership about one hour away so it will be a few days until I pick it up.

If you price the Mazda2's up on edmunds.com, the TMV (what others are paying) is also MSRP as there is only ~$186 between invoice and MSRP. (I was expecting to pay MSRP with that low of a mark-up)

You forgot the most important part...Color and OTD price :) Congrats BTW. The Mazda2 really is a great car. I'm still loving mine.

Don't forget holdback when pricing a car. No way they're only making $186 by selling the car at sticker.

True...I started out looking at used E30 BMW's and stuff around $4-$6K, then an Audi Avant 6MT for $11K (all with 100K miles), so I figured why not get a new commuter pod for a few more $$. I really think the Mazda2 is going to take off..if people do some research into it. It reminds me of my '79 (German) Ford Fiesta.

$16250 out the door for a MT Touring last weekend.

The best part was the $15K they gave me for the '07 MS3 I traded in w/18K miles on it, considering their initial offer on the trade was $11K, especially considering I only paid $13K for it eight months earlier when it had 9K miles on it.
