Hey Sir Nuke how do you like it did you feel the diference after getting the intake

I love it...for a few reasons...in MY opinion....I think it looks the best of all of them....I like the look of the polished tube...and I prefer the CAI design over the short ram design

the throttle response was noticably better.....you will notice that with all the aftermarket intakes though....

so there ya go.

ILMP5...you did GOOD!

I make and sell my own CAI's. They are exactly like the Injen. Take a look at it in the for sale forum under "cold air intake for sale". The one that MP3_PR5 has on his car is the one I made. I have the listing for the options and prices. Let me know if you are interested.

just took a peek at the pic of your intake....looks very nicely done. good work dude!

but I still like the SHINEY PIPE. :{D

Thanks. The only thing I cant replicate is the shiny pipe. The rest is easy. I guess I could get it chrome plated, but that would cost a little bit more. I figure, if people want one that is a color, why not save some money with mine and paint it themself. It gives the exact same improvements as the Injen. That's why I strongly reccomend painting it yourself. The powder coating isn't too expensive. It's actually pretty cheap where I get it done.

what kind of tubing are you using? carbon steel? aluminum? what?

no .... chrome would be cost prohibitive....you would have to be getting a LOT done at once to make it reasonable.

i got my intake for about 425 CAD after tax/blah blah blah, installed it myself for 50 bux.

I'm using aluminized steel 2.5" tubing. I think that's what Injen is using. I doubt it's aluminum, it would be more expensive than it is. If it is aluminum, it is a better one than mine because aluminum disipates heat better than aluminized steel.
