How many miles is too many?

I'm looking into buying an 03-05 Mazda6 or even Mazda3. My price cap is around 8500 and was wondering how many miles is too many on a Mazda6. I'm considering a 6 s that has 109k miles but don't know if I should purchase a used vehicle with this many miles on it. Any input is appreciated (burnout)

I just bought a 2008 Mazda6 for 8500 with 60k on it. she runs beautifully, i dont know about 109k for 8500 though...

My girlfriend has bought 3 mazda6's in the last year (don't ask lol) and every time she has paid 5 grand. First one was a 2005 with around 130k, second was a 2003 with around the same and the one now is a 2005 with 150k. I wouldn't spend more than 6.5-7 on one with 109k... Like the previous guy said, you can get a much lower mileage one for that price.

I just bought a 2007 Mazda 6 with 96k for $8500. I think it was a great deal, dealers wanted to sell it for $12k

Old threads coming back to life today
I just bought my 18 yr old daughter a 2006 Mazda 6 wagon with 130,000 miles for $3000 about a month ago.
She's added about a 1000 miles of her own so far, car seems to be running good.
