how many members have the udp on their ride?

Keep in mind, one or two members have had serious engine damage and both had the UDPs on their car. Needless to say, Mazda did *not* cover the car from what I remember.

i hope one of these can shed some light here.

Thats why I dont think there worth it, not enough gain and have a chance of problems down the road

Keith from FM has stated many times, dont use them with turbo'd engines... One guy whos motor blew had them and his oil light came on right before it blew.. Keith mentioned it killed the oil pump.. Search around in the FI section, you will probally find the thread.

bump I would like to know if any other MSP's have this on and for how long now. I know in some respects its a waste but when your trying to get as much as possible it dosen't seem all that wasteful. In addition is there a market that has aftermarket oil pumps for us? That might be another route to take for piece of mind before the UDP install....I'm just throwing things out there hopefully others can shed some light.

I don't know if this is of any relevance but I thought I might share it with you. I had a supercharged frontier that I added a smaller pulley to. I did not have any problems with it but the performance gains were next to nothing. But like I said I don't know if this bares any relevance with our application.
