How low is too low?

Im planning in buying some lowering spring for my 2002 es but i dont wanna make my car so low that its gonna bottom out on everything. I plan on getting these springs:

I dont have a body kit and i dont plan on getting one, cause protege body kits are up near 1,000$ i would rather put that money towards performance stuff.
Anyway what do u think?

i think you can go 2 inches all the way around and not have a problem without a body kit...do you have a front lip or anything? those are the first things to go...im gonna try to go with a 2 inch drop and not have any lips...

no there is no front lip other then what came on the car stock.

nate0123 has spool's springs in front. go scope his stuff. it's good. the car looks way better lowered, i think.

edit: the spools are supposed to be 2" all around as well.

I went all mazdaspeed $1300 for everything. Springs, struts, swaybars.

But it's only 3/4" drop

Sprint makes really nice tight springs. I had them on my last car and loved them and they were on stock struts. I plan on getting a set of the sprints to go along w/ the tokico blues when they are available.

wow...great, ive been looking for some info on sprint springs, im glad someone says they are good, cause they are pretty cheap...
