How loud is the MSP?

Not the exhaust but the actual engine noise. My current car runs at about 4k rpm while crusing at 80 mph and the engine noise really wears you down on long drives. I've done my homework and calculated that the MSP would rev to that same speed at 80 mph but it has a smaller engine than my current car and probably has more sound deadening too. It's a real pain to have to shout to the person in the passenger seat because your moving with the flow of traffic. Just curious Thanks

take your calculations and place them in the toilet. my car cruises nicely around or just under 4K at 90. engine noise isn't terrible. its no BMW but hey, thats obvious

Now; if you decide to add a (CAI) Cold Air Intake, or just the K&N Filter, you will gain more 'noise' from under the hood, as well. Louder than my wife's Protege ES, but pleasent.

There isn't a lot of engine noise as the MAZADASPEED is really quiet. I actually wish there was more exhust note to this car at 4K rpm cruising. The engine is not loud at all, don't worry. I could cruise in my car for a hour or 2 without worrying.
Although i find that our cars are quite loud on wind noise instead. But all this can be cured with the ease of your 450 watt kenwood system
