pat ,your way past do on lowering your car! j/k
i know, I know.. that will be my next mod after I receive my header, then after I receive my rims, then after I receive my....

Well, soon hopefully.

o.g.Skater - You sure have quite the extensive mod list! Out of all your mods, what do you find your most satisfying was?

Bijou - How about yourself?

The reason I ask this is that I had rims on order and they didn't fall through and I'm going to have to wait another 4+ weeks. So, I'm backing out of them and I got money to mod now!

Honestly, so far I love my HID kits and sparkco wires and mazdastuff exhaust.
I have only used for ebay intake so far and I didn't like ebay ones. I will see about my injen intake today

I would have to say the MP3 struts and sway bars.
I have surprised alot of people in the twisties. They all say, "Man your car is not that fast in the straight-a-ways, but in the turns, I could'nt catch you."

Then I would say my Injen intake. Did more than I expected.

I want MP3 Front and rear struts!!!(outie)
I want MP3 Front and rear struts!!!(outie) :D

strut install is pretty easy. just time consuming. To put springs on you must totally remove the struts. So its just like putting springs on.

if anyone needs lowering springs let me know i have a couple sets of 1.5 progress springs cheap:D

$460 for MP3 struts (revalved & made by Tokico) vs. $680 for Mazdaspeed adjustable struts

I'm just pulling these numbers from the recesses of my memory, but they're more or less correct. I'm sure about the price for the MP3 struts, though, as I am buying a set soon. www.mazdastuff.com

Bijou, you've had your car for barely a year, if that, judging from when you registered o nteh forum. Changing your own struts won't be bad. You won't have to contend with rusted bolts and such. Get a friend to help you! Actually, you should kill two birds with one stone and buy a set of lower performance springs (eibachs/teins) and do both at the same time. (What i'm doing in a few weeks)

Also, from what I understand, no one makes a thicker front swaybar for the protege-line ... so upgrading to the front MP3 swaybar would be see marginal gains, at best. I think the AWR rear swaybar is the best bet for now. ($202 from www.protege5online.com ) The front and rear swaybars from the MP3 cost $351 from www.mazdastuff.com

Thanks AndrewSilverMP5, I will consider :)
does anyone know about MSP struts prices?
