How is the antenna for factory Sirius installed/oriented?

Is there an externally visable separate antenna? Or is it integrated into the regular antenna base?

This question is directed at those who bought the car with it already installed/integrated.

The OEM antenna is separate and right behind the factory FM antenna.

Do they run the wire to the hatch or to the factory FM antenna hole?
