2017~2025 How high does rear door open?

My wife and I have plans to buy a 2018 CX-5 as soon as they are available. I'm wondering how high the rear door opens? My garage door us up 74.5" when open, is there any chance the door will hit it? Maybe I should be asking what it the distance from the ground to the highest point of the CX-5 when the rear door is open? Thanks!

You can set a custom default height. It's documented in the manual. I'm not sure what the maximum height it can open is.

The max height is limited mechanically, but you can set it to a lower height.
The procedure is very simple.
Follow the procedures in the manual.

The height when fully opened is about 82" from the floor, but as long as you pull a foot or so inside the garage door, it should clear as long as your ceiling inside the garage is normal height (8 to 10'). If not, you can adjust the max opening to a lower height as Aznbagel and ceric mentioned.

Any custom height of 1/2 open or higher. Per the manual, you can't set it to open to anything less than 1/2 way.
