Test drove one, didnt seem to cool the car down really. I have a friend with a P5, and he says his doesnt work that well either.
Anyone do any temp testing on what the AC actually blows?

welcome to the site!

i have had no problems with my AC at all...it's more than cool enough for me and i haven't heard anyone else complain about it. you could try doing a search...you might be able to find some usefull information.

For a sub-compart hatch/wagon it works pretty damn well for me.
My last car a Saturn Wagon would never ever cool off.

So considering the class of the car, interior volume, and size it works well.

Your not going to find to many cars that cool off quickly, about the only thing that does that are trucks.

What I like about my P5's A/C is the vents under the driver & passenger seats that vent to the floor/feet of the back seats.. I thought that was a cool idea..

my drivers side floor vent blows more air than the dash vent even when i have only dash selected. maybe i should get it checked out. but as a whole, the a/c is ok. my girlfriends altima is way colder.

Make sure you keep your AC in recirculate instead of venting from outside that makes a hugh difference in cooling power and temperature. Mine works great and it is hotter than hell here.

The AC is alright, I suppose. A lot of people on the board have complained about it, though. My '93 Ford Escort's AC was colder, but it didn't have the cool extra vents.

Well thats good to hear MP5DAVE, Im from Vegas too. You just picked yours up, correct? Where did you get yours from?

I find that the "2" setting works best. 3 and 4 is useless.... Roll down the rear windows for a few minutes while the AC is blowing to get any hot air out helps.

Dealing with 100+ temps daily and I feel that the AC works great. Of course you throw in any humidity and that'll change.

Mine works fine but it's too loud after setting 2!! I can barely hear the radio at that point so i keep it on 1 or 2....works great in the texas heat.

Mine's works so well that on humid days like today, my glasses will fog up when I get out of the car. My wife's car has had issues with the fan switch resistor, and I've seen other people have that problem but otherwise the A/C while a little slow to get ice cold, does pretty good.
