I think I've seen someone on the forum with that kind of back light. How do you do it?

Thanks

its atually like spray pant but its not its some kinda of tint spray.. you tap off and u spray it on, u should be able to get it at any performance shop.

What do you do then? you take the backlight apart and spray the inside? Similiar to how you JDM-nized the headlight? keke ^^

Thanks

I haven't taken my tails off to see how they're sealed, but I'd say you'd proably bake them in the oven to heat them up, open them and take the clear lens off. Then go at it carefully, let dry, put it back together and rebake to seal.

I just took out the amber corner lenses in the headlights of my MSP, so I know the baking thing works without hurting the lights. It's also been raining here and the headlights did not fog up, so the rebaking worked.

NOOOOOOOO

You don't spray the inside. You spray the outside part. NO need to take them apart.

After you are done with Night Shades put a clear coat to make them shiny and to protect the tint.

I stand corrected.

What if I wanted the tint on the inside in order to prevent scratching?

Good point..

Will they look the same if you paint inside instead of outside?

taking the amber corner lights out though leaves the unslightly hole and bulb.....what did you do about those? or did you just leave it? (ick).
