hello everyone thanks for looking at this thread i was trying to take off my stock grill so that i could put my dg cf grill on but s*** no luck and i didnt want to yank it off and brake something you know.. so if anybody knows how to do it and has done so would appreciate it.. thanks alot.. also pics would be cool but not counting on them... thanks alot folks

Dude checkout the how-to threads on the Forum Index part of the website there are multiple links that explain how to do this task. its basically two simple screws that you take out by the hood latch and the grill should come off by lifting the grill up. and to put the CF grill in you just reverse the steps you did to take off the grill. hope this helps if not..def check out the how-to threads its explained so well a 4 year old will get it done.

good luck man.

Hey 25FConv im not a ******* genius but i tried that... its still stuck so now im just asking to reassure myself as i stated i dont want to break my stock grill. Now if you want to be an asshole with you sarcasm take that s*** somewhere else... but i did remove the two stock bolts one at each end and did pull up down, left, right and it feels as if its being held on by something underneath... thats the only reason that i asked....

Dude I def wasn't tryin to be a sarcastic asshole. It seemed like u didn't know about the how to section of the website. I was simply explaining that a lot of people write up a lot of good detailed things on how to install or fix many common issues. I am not sure why your grill isn't coming off and I wish you the best of luck. However, if you wanna be insecure and make comments that I am tryin to be an asshole......then I can def act that way towards you.........but honestly I was jus tryin to help man that's it. So dude, good luck and grow the hell up.

okay, pretty simple:

1. open hood
2. locate philips head screws holding grill down
3. remove them
4. using a flat head screw driver or knife, locate 2 plastic push-in screws closer to the inner part of the grill and remove them. don't lose these.
5. taking hold of the grill firmly, pull up and a little toward the car. this is due to the large plastic spikes that align the grill to the frame of the car.
6. after this, you'll notice that there are 2 plastic nubs in the bumper, this is where the grill attaches to the bumper. to put the grill back on, simply align the plastic spikes to the frame and slide it in, put the grill over the two nubs and press down. also push down the side tabs where the philips head screws were in.
7. tighten down the screws, and voila

Is this even worthy of being among all these "Real" How To's... Jflo's post is the only one that really makes a difference here...
