How do you get the cp-e DP in?

Ok, I just finished installing the PG mani and tried to install the cp-e DP and couldn't get it in. I tried going in right-side-up (as it would sit mounted) and the flange just got stuck in the insulation and made a bunch of tears. Then I tried going in from upside-down, spiraling it as it went in, but it got stuck and the mounting pins tore more holes in the foil insulation. What orientation and meathod works? and how do I fix the holes and tears in the foil?

The cp-e instructions simply state "Install cp-e tm 3" Stainless downpipe from underneath the car by sliding it up and over the studs from the turbo"

Someone please help! I gotta go to work Monday!

I installed the corksport downpipe. Although it's just a dp and not a combo with the midpipe like cp-e's im sure you work it in the same. Have you removed the smaller subframe from underneath the car? And you should be able to just stick it up through there cus theres a bit of room once the subframe is out. Just use the silver insulator tape that they sell at most home/auto stores. You can barely see the lines of it once you place it over the tears..

I quit that night cause it was late. The next morning I got it in in like 2 minutes. I will pick up some of that tape. Thanks for the advice!
