How do I replace batteries in factory CX5 headphones?

Purchased two mazda accessory iPad holders and they came with headphones.

Initially they worked for a short time.

Now not working, suspect they need "charging" or their batteries replaced (if they have any).

I don't have any manuals to help me.
Have searched forums but to no avail.
Please help me maintain a semblance of sanity on long journeys!

Cheers,
Giddy.

Pretty sure Mazda didn't make those headphones nor the ipad holders. Plus both items may have been made by different companies. You could start with locating a name or model number on your headphones and then try a google search.

Thanks CX-5um, I had tried a google search by model designation (no brand name), also suspected that they weren't manufactured by Mazda.
Had to convince Mrs Giddy that contacting the dealer or Mazda HQ was a last resort. ("All mazda accessories are warrantied, you know!")
The search engine here didn't enlighten me, hence the thread.
Thanks for your reply and to others who have viewed.

I firmly remain an "analogue man", not too fussed with the digital revolution!
Maybe my kids can work it out, after all the headphones are for them!

LOL, your dealer sold this as an extra, there's nothing official Mazda about it.
Go to the dealer and ask them since they sold it to you.

I said they were Mazda accessories, as in accessories advertised by Mazda in their brochures and website.
Not sourced and provided exclusively by the local dealer. How can there be "nothing official Mazda about it".
The dealer will be my next point of inquiry, although I don't have much confidence in their ability to solve.
Thanks for your reply but there was no need to LOL at me.

I didn't see what you were talking about on the Mazda Australia site.
http://www.mazda.com.au/vehicles/cx-5/accessories#

I know there are other OEM stuff that is offered.

BTW I like the all weather mats offered for you guys.
Also, it seems like your window visors are different from the US models.

It seems like you get a stick on version, where the US gets a in channel version.

The headphones are supplied as part of the "rear seat entertainment holder for iPad" package.
I'd get the all weather mats if we received more slush or snow.
Window visors are slimline adhesive type, pretty slick and functional, just wish they were available in clear so they dont interrupt vision as much.

Weather Tech usually offers their window visors with a dark and light tint.
They don't have the CX-5 yet, but it's an option for you down the road.

Thanks for that info.
Just bought a genuine Mazda carpet mat for the cargo bay from America on ebay.
Only the plastic mat is available in Australia.
Wanted to stop the groceries from sliding without resorting to the elastic web.

Update on headphones, called Mazda customer support.
They emailed the owners manual, didn't say anything about batteries.

Fiddled around with headphones some more.
Couldn't get the power light to come on when plugged into iPad.
No sound with the switch to on.
Sound worked when the switch was in the off position! Go figure?

Thanks for the replies, this is the first time I have requested help on any forum.
Hope you're all enjoying your new rides and that you'll see the diesel in America one day!

Cheers,
Giddy.

Just got mine, have fitted batteries.
On the headphone with out the switch, (Right side) push and slide the cap (with LIC-201 writing on it ) downwards. (can only slide in one direction)
This will open the compartment, fit batteries and slide back.

Cheers
