a while back, the passenger side of my p5 was hit while parked and scraped up pretty bad. i had it fixed but the casing passenger side mirror no longer sits aligned with the arm attaching it to the rest of the door. it's the part of the mirror that you can turn in toward your car so that people don't side-swipe you and knock it off. my question is, is there any way to re adjust the alignment of this. i know it's a minor thing, but it's bugging the hell out of me everytime i look at it (which is everyday i drive it).

i'll post some pics as soon as i get a chance....maybe tomorrow.

here are some pics of my passenger side mirror. the angle is not that great, but hopefully you'll know what i'm talking about. if you look at

and look just under the "L" in the word "CLOSER" you might see how the casing is offset from where it is suppose to be. it's only a few degrees, but it bugs me none the less. is there a way to fix this without replacing the entire side mirror? i don't think it's worth it to do that.

thanks in advance

your attachement isn't working, but from what i can gather from your story, your mirror casing is fine. all of the passenger mirrors don't sit "flush" with the attaching part thingy. it makes it look offset, but that's the way it is. i remember a while back people were talking about this and everyone's mirror is the same. hope this helps.

well, if that's the way it's suppose to be, then i guess that's settled. i just figured that the mirror would be flush, i guess i didn't notice it when i got the car. oh well. thanks mountjonas.
