How can I replace these door speakers by the A pillar?

Hi guys, have a 2002 MP5-auto. Recently I believe I blew out one of the speakers near my driver side mirror. I started to do some research, and I can't find any information about these tiny speakers(if they're aftermarket, where I can buy them, etc...). Can anyone help me out? I know how to pop the case open to remove the speakers, I just dont know where to get them or really anything else about em. I'd like to replace the things, but if they're aftermarket and impossible to find I suppose I can just cut the wire and have a dead speaker sitting there. Thanks a ton!

the entire corner piece just pops out. no wrenches needed. just wedge something in there to pop it out. under there you will also find mounts for the mirror.

those are also not OE tweeters, what you have in the picture have been added by the PO.

That makes sense, considering the driver door speaker has also stopped working because this tweeter is blown out. I'm guessing that the wiring of the 2 is connected and since the little guy is jacked that's making the driver door not work as well.

That looks to be part of a poorly installed component set of speakers. If the woofer is not working as well, you want to find the crossover as the problem most likely lies there. Most likely either one of the input wires came undone, or the crossover itself succumbed to the elements of being mounted in the door (electronics usually aren't big fans of moisture).

they are not wired together. my tweeter burned out a long time ago but the door speaker still works.

No woofer, I thought the entire audio setup was stock when I originally purchased the car. It's still got a stock head unit even.

Boston Accoustic component speakers fit well and the 1" tweets are great upgrade.

I have the adapters to fit the round door speakers if you need 'em. $5 for two +shipping.

Those are definitely not stock speakers, from the sound of it there probably is no cross-over installed. Tweeters are pretty hard to blow out with the correct setup and if you're saying that the door woofer is not working now as a result of the tweeter being blown, I'm willing to say that either it's installed incorrectly or a wire came off somewhere. Pop the door panel off and see what you're working with.

If you're replacing the speaker & tweeter together, a great replacement is the Alpine Type-S components. The Alpine tweeter fits right into the stock sail area...

Like gswift said, I recommend alpine. If you check my build I have a entire alpine sound system in my car; tweeters, door speakers, headunit, amp, subs...
these are the ones i have for tweeters
Alpine SPS-110TW
pop right in and although they aren't component, they still sound nice. (easier install, too)
and 1" tweeter should fit for the most part, you shouldnt really have a problem with depth because the plastic casing is large enough
