How am i hitting fuel cut?

It has to be the cold air (in combination with mods). If it's below 54 degrees, it starts doing it. The colder it gets, the more it acts up. With the stock BPV on, I do not notice it, but I have noticed in a couple situations that there is a slight loss in power at times with the stocker. This to me seems like it is leaking. It leaks before I get to the point of getting the fuel cut.

I really hope that the BCD helps, but I am thinking that it will not.

Laloosh, when you get your parts, would you mind tossing on the fuel pump before installing the EMS and seeing if that takes care of the issue for you? That would be awesome.

i feel bad for you guys, the wheather here hasn't dropped below 60, and i'm running custom fmic, cobb sri, txs dp and test pipe. i've hit fuel cut once in 3rd gear around 5 grand. I would lilke to say its your mbc but you've already beat that option. i know i'm running the stock cat-back but everybody know replacing that is only good for like 6 ponies

I've hit fuel cut once in 3rd gear with my current layout. Everyone is saying the CPE EMS will help this out, I'm sure hoping so!

I had this happen last night and figured it had to do with my mods+cold temperatures causeing the turbo to spike a little high and hitting boost/fuel cut. It went fine in third and I hit 4th and it was like a real bad bucking and stuttering, so the standback should fix this yes?

laloosh my car just started doing this same s***. I checked all the plugs and they were good and gapped at 28 from the factory. im stumped on why its doing this also. I checked all hose clamps and even tried turning the boost down to 15psi and still does it.

I think its kinda funny how the two guys that SWORE by MBC and the BCD are now having problems.

EMS guys... do things the right way from the start.

I hope you get your issues resolved.

Anyone with these problems should connect an OBD scanner and check for any codes. There are some non-emission related codes that will not cause a CEL.

so it was a leaky bov huh? fun stuff...glad u got it figured out man. I was getting sick of every1 bashing you saying you broke your car....morons.

it wasnt the bpv, it was my fuel pump, the ems didnt change s***, i said it a bunch of times and ill say it again, to me its not worth it unless you go big turbo. I have because i though i needed a tune, the only part im using of hte ems is the boost controller part, its set to 18 andt thats it. Its a maf car pushing 3 psi over stock, if the fuel is there...theres no problems.
