Can the water lines in the Protege be replaced with hose techniques silicone hose?

I know its intended for vacuum lines only but will it make a good cooling line or wil it possibly breakdown or leak?

They could breakdown due to heat...E-Mail hose techniques adn find out if they don't work then I know there are some colored water lines somewhere.

Any brands come to mind?

Is it tough to install Hose Techniques hoses? I'm not a complete dumbass, but I probably wouldn't know which hoses I should be replacing..I love the look of them and I thinks its a great, cheap mod..But I'm not sure ifI could do it.

They make a custome kit for our car, basicly just pre-cut segments so it should be fairly logical as to which is used where, plus you can simply convert inches to mm and figure it out for youself which I did so I could replace some of the lines that came with my turbo kit.

You know youcould always just get stainless braided sleeves and put them over your current water lines. They turn out really well if you do it right and look just as good if not better than colored lines. Or Spectre makes some braided covered line that isn't really braided line but look just like it they don't corrode and they keep their looks just like real braided line....or you could spend 500+ in fittings and lines and do all Aeroquip stuff which is what most of my cars engine bay is now it works great adn will withstand anything!
