Hope to get some peice of mind

Hello All

So i just traded in my 06 MX5 with less then 30K on it for a 07 Cx7 with almost 50K.

I felt really good buying the car (this is our families 4th Mazda) But now.. im worried.

I got home.. started looking at all the issues and im kinda freaking out. So far all i see are bad reviews about the engine and AC.

Since im getting it from a dealership i have the option of getting extended warranty. After reading all the comments im going for it!!

Please tell me i bought a good car!!

Hello?? Any long term owners with some good advise??
i would really appreciate it, as i gave up my fun no problem sports car for a starter family car that after buying im starting to think was a bad idea.... i just need some piece of mind to know i made the right decision..
i LOVE the way it drives, and handles. Just dont want it breaking down on me...

I have an 07 and no issues other than a HP fuel pump which was changed under warranty. My concerns are turbo seals & the AC compressor which Mazda has now warrantied for 5y/60K miles. A great car to drive and you must use 91 octane fuel in the 07s. I tried 89 and it is OK until you need to get out of the way fast and it knocked horribly for about 2 seconds and shut down power to nothing. I love mine. Ed

I just picked it up today. Love the way it drives!! its like my Miata but its bigger brother ^_^ Im used to putting in 91 so that is not that big of a deal.

When for the extra 3 year warranty as i am worried about that turbo.

So far so good! ^_^
