Where is the EGR??

paulmp3 said:my pcv is hooked up correctly. My question is where is this EGR valve located. Is it right in the throttle body?
Little Beavis said:GOTZOOM is correct. . .it is kind of below the TB. I plugged my EGR at first. . .but kept getting a CEL for "EGR Flow Insufficient". So, in order to get some flow there, I connected the valve cover breather to the EGR "plug" with a hose and provide it with "flow". My CEL went away and I've had no problems. No SVXIN has tried it and had problems. Which sucks because it worked for me and not for him.
If you put a filter on the valve cover breather, you should be fine, I don't know that you have to plumb it into the intake, but I can't for the life of me figure out why you would have problems with what I did. . .but there is obviously something wrong with my logic if it caused someone problems.![]()

Little Beavis said:I'm running with only the second cat and both O2 sensors in the exhaust. . .what are you fishing for? I'm not sure what you're getting at? Just curious though.
