I am interested in ordering a set of the mazdaspeed hood stripes for my speed 3 for the FRONT ONLY and I want the ones that come down to a point, not the ones that stop at the hood. Does anyone know where to buy these, how much, and is there a how to on installing them? If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it. I have a car show next saturday, so I am trying to find them quick! Thanks! :)

if im correct they all come down to a point, its just up to the buyer if they want the small piece on the bumper. I got mine from a guy on the MSF forums. Product was great and the service was great. I got them in like 5 days from payment.

here is his email a1booyaah@yahoo.com his name is Matt.

I would post the link from the other forum, but i dont want to get in trouble....lol

on a scale of 1-10, its a 5. Just be patient and keep the surface and vinyl very wet. Try and squeegie the water/soap from the middle up and the midle down. He will send you instructions as well. Good luck and post pics.

heres how mine ended up after i added a gold accent stripe....

Thanks bro! I e-mailed him and told him you sent me :) How hard were they to install? Any advice?

really easy to install. if you don't have a squeegie a credit card or some thing like that works perfectly also.

i made the mistake of getting too excited early this year and put them on when it wasn't as warm as it should be so i did have some airbubble action going. if that happens to you don't worry about it as much as they do dissipate once it get's warmer. mine are completely gone.

Strick- That looks awesome with the gold.

They aren't hard to put on as long as you have patience... lol.

Easiest thing I've done to my car, and yes they come with the point, I just decided to trim mine off. As long as you have plenty of soapy water you'll be fine. What colors are you looking to get? I have cosmic blue as well, went with flat black and white lettering.

I paid a decal shop to do it for me. $30 later and zero effort on my part, I've had the decals on perfectly without issue since last september.

If they had them as plain stripes without the lettering, I`d seriously consider those as my only mod done purely for looks. I like that black accent on the red hood.

he will do them how ever you want. No writing at all or you can put whatever text you want.....im pretty sure anyway

Put mine on two days ago. Pretty easy install, just had to keep everything wet and have a buddy help. I have serious airbubble action going though... I hope they dissipate. Any advice on that? I don't think I screwed up putting them on. Is this supposed to happen? How long do the bubbles take to go away?

The bubbles will go away with time, just make sure you leave it out in the sun. On a side note these are stripes I've made and sold.

Yeah, thanks again man. These are awesome and a great visual addition to my car. Even my grandma likes em! Very tasteful. I was just a little freaked out because I thought they were supposed to go away in like one day.

Is it just me, or does your car look like the burnt orange of the MSPs? Probably just the camera, but I couldn't help but think it...

If they still won't go away, I read somewhere that if you take a sewing pin with a very fine point, you can just pop the bubbles and they will settle. I'd use it as a last resort tho.
