WOW, just rotated my tires at *cough* 9000 miles...i know i know... and DAMB The front tires are REALLY worn! like down to the markers (i think thats what they are). The back tires look brand new, I had heard these tires dont last long but I was not expecting this.
Shoudl I be concerned about this much wear at 9000miles? I might go talk to the dealer about it.

Left is the front tire, Right is the rear.

Also On this car is it good to rotate FR-BL FL-BR cris cross style?
(I found out from bridgestone these tires are not directional, they will work on either side on the car, as long as the side marked OUTSIDE is outside.)

I rotated mine at 5,000 and wish I had sooner, 2/32 difference between front and back but it was between 6/32 and 8/32. These tires wear out fast. You shouldnt cross these tires only do front to back, they are unidirectional.

I thought they might be unidirectional, thanks, i'll have to switch em.

I rotate mine drive wheels straight to the other end, cross the others to the opposite corner. That is, LF to LR, RF to RR, RR to LF, LR to RF.

Not quite sure what you are saying. You rotate yous from front to back right?
whats this saying? " cross the others to the opposite corner. "

Right rear to left front, left rear to right front, right front to right rear, left front to left rear. Each tire spends time on each corner over the life of the tires, in this case probably no more than 24k miles (I don't do many tire-smoking starts). Each tire on my 300C and the Ram probably will spend time on each corner about three times.

ohhh you're saying each time you rotate you switch up the location. One time its Front to back, next its criss cross front to back, right?

Not quite. What I've done for years is take the drive wheels and keep them on the same side and just swap ends, but take the non-drive wheels and put them on the opposite corner. That way I get even wear on all tires.

Further example: My Ram is rear-wheel drive, so the backs go straight to the front and the fronts are crossed to the back. Same for the 300C, since it's RWD as well.

I would like you to define "even wear".I rotate my tires the same way you do and ervery 5K. Although it has quite a bit of negative camber on both ends, I find my tires are wearing much faster on the outside edges.I live in an area with a lot of crooked roads and I love to drive them fairly hard, but have not had this wear problem with other cars. Are yours wearing more on the outside ??

Even wear to me is no rounded shoulders. The negative camber would seem to create inside wear. What tire pressures are you using?

I'm not as frisky as that. My commute is at rather more sedate speeds and in light to moderate traffic. As a result, I don't get to "play" as often as I'd like. The last month has been terrible for love bugs, so I don't drive as much as I'd like after work, since those little varmints take the paint off.

8000-12000 miles is pretty normal for high performance tires on a high performance car. My tires last around 12,000 a set

I keep hearing how people only get 12,000 miles out of the stock tires. They must be very hard on tires because I have 11,000 miles on mine so far and they have alot of tread left. I'm sure I'll get atleast 30,000 out of them. I guesss I don't drive my Speed as hard.

These tires are NOT "unidirectional". Unidirectional tires have an arrow on them and are meant to turn in one (uni) direction. Yours are marked "outside" which concerns their orientation on the wheel and necessitates that they turn in different directions on the left and right sides of the car.

+1. They're asymmetrical, but not unidirectional. "Unis" will have "right" and "left" molded in the sidewall.

i dont rotate them at all. these tires are made to handle not wear. if you drive like an old dude, oops i mean very old dude then they will last. (no s____ grandpa!!)

Wear looks even to me

Your tires seem to be wearing evenly by the picture. Rotate however you want -- just know that hard acceleration will eat up the fronts in a big hurry. Grandpa comments above notwithstanding, it might be smart to think ahead about romping the gas at every stoplight before you find yourself shelling out nearly $1000 for the next set (if you buy OEM tires).
