Holy Moly! i need 2 new tires

My speed6 wore the rubber right down to the nylon in about 5,000 miles! only on the outside of the tire, the inside looks like new :-(

Problem is I am broke Discount Tire wants $330 for 2 kumho asp 215/45/18 mounted and balanced which i feel is way to high for a kumho.

I found Nitto NTRD1 redlines for $75 each! but they are 255/45/18. SOOO cheap, but so wide. (at this price id get 4) These wont fit will they??

Anyone have a recomendation for someone in the poor house?

I read the sticky and see anything over 235 will rub/not fit. but anyone know any good deals on tires? id take something used if people have 215/45/18's for sale cheap

these are 215/40/18 though.

you might want to try 225/45/18 as an option as the 40 series will yeild a much larger speedometer difference.

Thanks for the link, ill read some reviews about them. .if they are even half way decent ill probably get them. i just moved last week and dont have money in the budget for $500 for new tires...
