Hmmm possible endlink fix....?

Ok, so i installed tokico blues and eibach pros this weekend and so far i love the ride but... The freakin endlinks are too short for the struts, which is a well known problem so i had to leave them disconnected or they'd jack up my fender and make a loud bang everytime i hit a bump. My protege is a 2000 DX so i was thinking maybe i could jsut order the endlinks from a 2001+ (which are longer?) and the problem would be solved? Anyone tried this? Thanks in advance!

as Ed McMahon used to tell Johnny, "You are correct, sir!" The 99-00 front tabs were lower on the front strut bodies, so you'll need the mondo-long end links from a 01-03. Although the rear links and bar changed too, the tabs didn't so you're OK back there. I'm glad I saw this post, as I am about to put HP's on my 02 P5 and was hoping I wouldn't have to buy the shorter ones.
