That SUCKS... glad to hear it didn't cause any perm damage though.... And yeah... snap ring is horrible....

My advice for everyone.. once you get the ring in the hole... use a screwdriver.. to jam the ring down farther.. compressing the rubber o-ring seal enough so the snap ring will SNAP into place... BOV should be VERY VERY difficult to turn... when installed correctly...

Ok im 90% decided to get this BOV. They only thing that bothers me is what is a PITA about the snap ring?? Do I gotta be like a professional mechanic to do this?? And what is all the parts I would need to start ordering them. thanks

Sticker price on Speed6 is 36,000 something...

I paid 34,000... with 10 / 100 warranty upgrade... and 5 years oilchange thing...

If 34,000 for all that is a rip-off i'd love to see where you can get better... So I can go complain...

Whats the dealers name-- Im getting one soon and my dealers are telling me that there is no 10/100 for these...

Is it OK for me to put my BOV into VTA. Other peeps telling me it is REAL bad for the air/fuel mix and can ruin my engine. I don't feel like finding the post but it is on the 6club forum posted by seoulful. Give me some info please!

Car runs rich to begin with... and running VTA will only change the mixture between shifts when it vents...

I think you'll be plenty happy with Recirc however which will cause no problems for sure. We run aroudn 15 psi... which is a good amount for the HKS...

Looks like they got you too. All of the MS6's I have seen hear in Atlanta have been for like 28,7.

My dealer didn't say anything when I brought the car in for an oil change. I even had the blow off valve hooked up VTA at the time.

I've got the HKS BOV, the CP-E intake, the CP-E motormount, an Odessy battery relocated to the trunk in a moroso battery box, and the mufflers removed(CP-E exaust should be here on the 12th). I've also got an innovate wideband O2 guage and controller (just waiting for someone to make a downpipe so I can get the wideband sensor installed correctly).

Does anybody know anything about this JDM BOV? It is a whole lot cheaper than the actual HKS and it claims to be the same? I want to get good parts but if I can save some money I want that too

yea id trust hks not ebay...my friend buys s*** off ebay all the time and he is just now thinking that ebay might be a waste of time unless you are buying used name brand stuff...

3. Flange --> is this the same as the plate? ($30 - $50??)
