Hks ssqv bov

So I installed a HKS SSQ bov in my car and it doesn't operate. I've double checked, triple checked my work, and can't seem to find what the problem is. I'm running it recirc, so I was assuming I wouldn't hear it as much, but looking at the valve, I don't see it operating at all. The car seems to drive just fine.. Any ideas??? I was thinking I would take it apart again this weekend and changing it to VTA and seeing what happens.. But if any one has any clue as to what I'm doing wrong, it would save me the trouble and headache!!! Please help.

if BOV is not operating, which means ur car probably run bad. but in ur case ur car ran fine. whats the problem? do u mean not hearing whooosh sound???if u dont have a intake or inlet u will not hearing any sound of the BOV....

run VTA for a pull and see if you hear it, if you do it is prob fine, just quiet when in recirc.

thanks for the help. lol.. my boyfriend figured it out and it seems to work fine now. dunno what he did, but I got a big fat "i-told-you-so" for not letting him help me install it in the first place. hahahaha...

It not that quiet in recirc you should be able to hear it if you have a intake.
