I love this catback. The stock exhaust had that annoying low RPM resonance when revving or driving around town. The HKS has none of that. Its actually quieter when driving normal, idling or revving. When you open it up though it sounds mean! The sound out the exhaust tip whether just at idle or while on the throttle is really aggressive. I couldn't be happier with this exhaust.

So it sounds quieter while revving and idling? This is the cbe I'm gonna go with later on down the road. I think it sounds nice from the youtube videos. Glad you like it I'm jealous because I want mine

If its quieter at idle and normal driving my wife would let me buy this, she always says my car is to loud. I guess theres only one way to find out.
How was the install?

I would love this but I am catless. Volume is about good where it is and don't mind it louder outside, I just wanna get rid of my drone and a bit of volume inside. If the vibrant resonator can clean this up, here we go HKS

Its quieter at certain times like normal driving around town/commuting to work. Idling is the same or quieter than stock, just deeper. Its hard to explain but that low rpm resonance that the stocker had is gone but when you stomp on the gas, it opens up to a nice deep aggressive sound.

I didn't feel like doing the install on jack stands and having to cut the stocker out so I had Meineke install it for $75. Usually I wouldn't do this but they did a great job and saved me the hassle.

Yes it does. I was driving around with the windows down today just enjoying the music. (band)
