HKS Exhaust Emissions Question

Long story, short... I need to have the exhaust tested. Parents are involved, and they are concerned that my exhaust is not legit. According to HKS's website the axle-back is legit in emissions and noise for California. I'd imagine that if it's gravy in California, it is in NJ, correct?

Anyone know who owns the exhaust (other states as well)?

if you haven't touched the cats, you should be fine for emissions. as for sound, hks is one of the quieter exhausts out there.....if tanabe can pass cali's sound requirements, i'm pretty sure hks can as well.
