when installing the HKS ssqv blow off valve is the flange kit all thats needed to install it? sorry for the simple question

Yes yuo will be using the rubber gasket that comes equiped with your stock BPV. You can use the stock socket screws if you so desire.

The CPE BOV kit is nice You'll like it. The two hardest things (if you want to call them that) are the re-clocking of the BOV (lots of little screws) and getting the snap ring on, wow was that a big ring definitely got me a little frustrated.

thanks i was looking at the cpe one...so if i order the hsk bov somewhere else and just order the flange from cpe it will work fine?

yea but you will have to order recirc fittings and alll other stuff to work correctly. cpe kti comes with EVERYTHING you need, including t's for mechanical blow off valve and a cap for hoses for vta mode

I am fairly certain that an ordinary HKS kit comes with the t's and recirc fittings Clos. The only thing that CP-E is giving you in the bundle is the flange. Everything else should be included with an HKS BOV.

I have the CP-E set up. It is a few bucks cheaper if you buy it from RPM who is a vendor here. I also believe that Ken at Protege Garage had them for around 250 which is cheaper yet. The valve is much more cheaply made than the previous generations but, it still works well. I am dissapointed to not get the awesome HKS vent noise when recirculating but, that's life.

hey did u ever figure something out to make a recirc fitting with the vta fitting inside , so that when it runs recirc u can hear a whistle?

I made an insert that used the HKS fin and a reserc nipple. It had a very muted version of the sound I wanted but it wasn't great. I am currently adding a 3 inch chamber (thin silicone hose) on the reserc hose to see if allowing the air expanding space makes the cool HKS sound while recirculating.
