my sister actually did that to me...in the driveway....my car was behind hers and she backed right into it....she jumped out, looked at the damage, and drove off...b****. good thing i happened to be looking out the window at the time...

get a cop and get a paint sample off her car before she scrapes off the blue paint. And its not really a hit and run (thats if it was a person), but it is leaving the scene of a crime with failing to leave information which is an offence.

Actually it is a hit and run, at least according to my state farm insurance agent who supposedly called the police department in an effort to convince the woman who sideswiped my wife's pathfinder in our old apartment parking lot.

thanks for feelin for me, I finally got some nice days to wash my car, and it still looks great, aside from my new bumper damage.

I had the girl whos jeep it was drive right up behind me, and her bumper would have hit the front of my bumper, not the top like it did. Although if she jumped on it, i guess her car could have lungged up, but i cant proove much. She said she "definitly" didnt do it, so i guess there isnt much i can do. I have the police report, i just need to get some estimates when i get home for the summer, before i call my insurance.

my poor car :( looks like i gotta pay for this one.

well at lease its a just a bumper scrape. . any competant shop can fix that for around 150-200 i would suppose.. . ..hell get a bumper for 100 bux from a wrecker and get it repainted for anotehr 100 and stick your mp3 lip on it

touch up paint can't fix that?...what good is it for then..

have you ever used touch up paint? it is a joke. I think it makes scratches look worse then before.

i would probably just be pissed that she is lieing to my face and then go get it fixed for a few bucks because its not going to be that much.

i was rear ended a yr ago...$300. someone put out in front of me while i was going 35...$5,500. and now the dog runnin out in front of me...$5,000. none of which were my fault..ive got it all fixed though, including a carbon fiber hood out of one of the deals..
i feel ya man..haha

don't call your insurance...your premium will probably go up higher than the cost of you replacing your 5 with a full set of aftermarket body kit

the entire bumper removal and reassemebly plus dent fix, paint removal, sanding, priming, and color coat took me an entire day with some breaks in between. if u get touch up paints, there is that leveler (basicly a solvent) you can use so that the touch up paint doesn't look as if it's sticking out the older paints. then you can use some rubbing compound and a good coat of wax and you might just get an okay finish.

best of luck getting you bumper to a close to original shape.
