Hey,
What should I be doing with my car at this point? The stealerships charge 250ish to do a 30k mile service, and I know I don't need all the crap they do. What do I have to do to keep my car in service? Somebody give me a list so I don't have to pay for unneccesary crap.

A fresh set of sparkplugs and a pcv valve for starters. New cars really do not need much else at the 30K mark, unless other issues are present.

I've have been told that the fuel filter is in the tank. I would have recommended changing it as well, if it were mounted in a place that was easy to get to. Fuel injectors should be fine with only 30K on the car.

I have 38,380 on mine. I only changed the items mentioned previously. My car is running great!

if you're still using stock plugs they should be fine. I have 40,000 and drive the piss out of my car and the plugs are still fine, i was gonna get new plugs but my mechanic told me the plugs were still good enough to last till 80,000 but i'm changing them at 50,000. If i were you i would pull the vac hose from your PCV valve and pour sea foam in to clean out the injectors etc... I did this friday and the car drove exactly how it did when i got off the lot. Doesn't lurch as bad and is all around smoother.

Correct! It's in the fuel pump unit. Not really a serviceable item, unless you like taking the fuel pump apart. Dump a bottle of fuel system cleaner and it should be fine. I prefer Valvoline SynPower.

Definitely change your coolant, motor oil, and gear fluid. Inspect all hoses, belts, tire pressure, brake pads, powersteering fluid level, wiper blades, tire balance/rotation, alignment. I'd also check your throttle body plate to see if there is any carbon build up. Cleaning it while it isn't too gummed up will be easier than say 60k miles down the road.
