Hight intake temp?

Alright guys, my intake is running about 120-130 degrees at idle and cools down to ambient temp while driving.The temp was about 102 yesterday while i was driving and the temp was saying about 100. I just installed the PG Turbo Inlet and it seems as though the temp rose? I was wondering if this is normal/ok or what?

If it's any consolation, I see 160 here in Alabama, then down to a freezing-cold 105 at speed. Car doesn't love it, but then, it can't be 40 degrees all year right?

even with my ETS TMIC my car registers 102 at 70mph in 85 degree humid weather, when it's cooler say 75 no humidity then it runs at 97 degrees.

Those are my BAT, however after todays 95 degree day even at 80 mph the DH still registered the ETS at 110, which is NOT bad at all, consider before with stock it was at 132+ at 80 MPH. at Idle it will go as high as 155 even with the ETS...oh well wonderful result of a TMIC and heat soak, best part tho is with the ETS as soon as you get going the temps drops 30 degrees in a flash, unlike before it would take a few miles of driving to see 15 degree drop.

Intake temp means little in comparison to boost air temp...mine has been around 115 just cruising around at a constant RPM. It gets considerably higher if you're doing a lot of stop and go on a hot day (like a traffic jam). Getting into the boost takes it down into the mid 90s or so, but that's with meth/water injection.
