High flow cat???

anyone suggest a high flow cat, thats at a decent price? if so, where can i get it??

magnaflow hi flo cat . Got mine for the low introductory rate of 72 dollars. Do research tho cuz its hard to find that price.

thats what ive been lookin at......im gettin a 2.5" DP.......will i need a 2.5" inlet and oulet? also, will a round cat fit?

yea, if your goin 2.5 inch piping, do 2.5 inch cat and people say different things about the oval and flat one. Some say that it will sit low but it can't sit that low to hit the ground.

I can do OBD II compliant Magnaflow cat's for $100 Shipped.

a pretty effective and very cheap method of cat work is to hollow them out. i cut the 2nd cat and resonator off of mine and hollowed out the one remaining cat and it made a noticeable difference. the entire job took less than an hour to do too!

well im wanting to be able to pass emissions without removing the DP and putting the stock back on, dealing with any bad MIL eliminators, or any other home remedies that people say work....also, i dont know anyone were my car is registered (Iredell county, NC) that will inspect a catless setup.....so im gonna try and go legit.....ive thought of ever possibility and the best was to buy a high flow cat.....but, thanks for the input guys!!!!

Hey Jeff, you could try this to avoid the MIL with the catless DP: http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=229959

However, even if you don't have a MIL and you get somebody to inspect it, I doubt that the MSP will pass a tailpipe test without a cat there. So, you have to get that hiflow or do the "cat hokey pokey" once a year and get it back to stock for inspection.

thanks guys for the input but i ordered a high flow cat from completeexhaust.com (someone recommended them on here) magnaflow cat 2.5" inlut and outlet.......$66 shipped should be here today!!! then the DP should arrive friday cant wait woo hoo!!!
