Ummm....My name is John.
I'm in the STL area.
My rotard-ness started about 6 years ago. Been through 3 rx-7s. 2 FC's and currently an FB. Turbo, N/A, 6-port turbo, carb'ed....
Currently I have a 1985 RX-7 GSL that I plan on keeping until it's impossible to drive. It's been through a lot of different motor setups in the 2 years I've had it. I bought it for $500 and all it needed was a carb. Bought a Rotary Engineering Webere DCD setup. Ran it, drifted it, LOVED it.
Needed more power so i put the 6-port turbo motor I put together from my FC in it.
That blew up...I rant that motor hard in the fc for a couple years then almost a year in the fb.
Then had a friend that had a streetported motor that he let me have for cheap. I put my turbo setup on that motor...it didn't last very long
Which brings me to now. Found a S5 n/a motor that I'm in the process of putting in. I was on hold for the last week waiting for gaskets but it should be in this weekend.
I'm also now running Re-Speed from coil kit with camber plates and ground control springs in the rear.
