Installed hitch and wiring/lights, the install was easy and went well in about 2 hours by myself, the hardest part is fishing the bolts/spacers through the frame with wire to mount the hitch itself.

This allows me to slide this step in when my dog gets in and out of the back to give him another foot or so less to jump, I'm going to get another adapter so the step is a little higher and more in the middle of the ground and hatch opening.

Since I have a cargo tray with lights/signals and a small utility trailer I installed wiring. This kit was nice as it had plug and play adapters for the turn signals, I only had to create a ground, tap a power source and add the fuse for that.

Looks like a good setup. What's the weight on that thing? My main reason for having a roof rack is to carry bikes... but a hitch mount is much more aerodynamic.

Thanks, this is to compliment my roof rack, in the past we have taken our kayaks and bicycles places for the weekend and I needed both the roof and hitch to bring all 4 items.

etrailer.com lists the shipping weight of the hitch at 32 lbs.
