HID Lights for Canada? Yes or No?

You're right wongpres, it is illegal to disable the DRL's, so ordering the U.S. parts and installing them won't be legal.

However, the Mini Cooper uses it's HID's as DRL's and I'm pretty sure that I've seen BMW's do it as well. GM & Chrysler use orange parking lights as DRL's.

Actually, bmw's have halogen bulbs for their drls, and high beams. the hid's are a separate bulb.
It sucks that there is no hid option, and drls suck ass big time
